One of the key aims of the Norwich 12 project is to support learning and education. We are currently developing a series of education packs which relate to each Norwich 12 building, the first batch of which are available:
The Guildhall: aimed at Key Stage 2 and 3 Law and Order / Government for Citizenship and History
House of Dragons / Dragon Festival education packs relating to the Assembly House, Dragon Hall, St James Mill and Norwich Castle: aimed at Key Stage 2, creative subjects including Art, Drama, Music, Poetry and Story-writing
Norwich Castle: aimed at Key Stage 3 Local History, Geography and Citizenship
Surrey House: aimed at Key Stage 4 (GCSE) Business Studies and Art and Design
St John‘s Roman Catholic Cathedral: aimed at Key Stage 2 onwards: Religious Education, Citizenship, Art and Design and History
We have also organised Norwich‘s first ever Dragon Festival, a fun and educational Festival celebrating the symbol of the dragon in our history and culture.
Several of the Norwich 12 partners also run their own excellent well-established educational programmes and activities. For more information please contact the venues directly.
