Getting here

By rail

National Express East Anglia operates regular train services between Norwich and London Liverpool Street with an average journey time of 1 hour and 50 minutes. There is also a direct service from Peterborough, Cambridge, Ipswich and other parts of East Anglia, as well as the connecting services from the Midlands, North of England and Scotland via Peterborough. The railway station is a 15 minute walk from the city centre and taxis and buses also travel to the city centre from the station.

By air

Norwich International Airport is four miles to the north of the city and links a number of European and UK destinations by airlines including Flybe and KLM. Taxis and the Airport Park & Ride bus service are available to take passengers in to the city centre.

By car

Major trunk roads to the Norwich area are the M11, A11, A12, A140 and A14 from London, the south east of England, ferry ports and the Channel Tunnel. The A14, A11, A47, A17 and A1 serve the Midlands and the north of England.

By coach

By bus

First in East Counties operates 80 inter-urban bus services throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, linking Norwich to other cities, towns and villages in the region. Buses stop at Norwich's main bus station at Surrey Street.
