Norwich 12 is taking part in this year's Heritage Open Days, England's largest and most popular voluntary cultural event, celebrating all of its fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to events and interesting properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission.
It is a great opportunity to visit the Norwich 12 buildings free of charge, especially those not usually open to the public.
This year's Heritage Open Days (HODs) run from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th September with free access to around 200 events and interesting buildings.
You will need to book a ticket in advance for the pre-bookable events as numbers are limited. Do act quickly as we expect very high demand for most of these events. There is no need to book for the drop-in events.
Click here to download the full HODs brochure.
Postal booking for events is now open. Click here for the booking form and here for booking guidelines - these can be printed out and sent in to Norwich HEART, the charity that co-ordinates HODs in Norwich. The TIC at the Assembly House on Theatre Street will also take bookings in person from 26th August. The TIC is open Monday to Saturday 09:30-18:00 and Sunday 10:30-16:30.
