Getting around

Norwich 12 leaflet

The Norwich 12 leaflet can be picked up from hundreds of venues across the East of England and in Norwich, including Tourist Information Centres, large train and bus stations and many hotels and B&Bs.

It contains brief historical information about each building, details of opening times and access as well as a handy map.

By car

Norwich Park & Ride operates six sites serving all major routes into the city every 10-15 minutes.

By foot

Norwich is easily accessible by foot, with extensive pedestrian areas and good signage around the city. Click here to view a map of the city or click here to download a version.

There are a variety of routes and subjects that Norwich's Blue Badge Guides cover on their guided walking tours of the city. Norwich 12 is also working with the TIC on a programme of guided tours for the public and groups for 2009 that will take in the Norwich 12 buildings. More details will be available here once confirmed. In the meantime please contact the TIC on the details above.

By cycle

By bus

Tours and sightseeing

CitySightseeing operates sightseeing tours from an open top bus that runs a hop on, hop off service that stops near to the main attractions and the railway and bus stations.

Discover Norwich runs a hop-on hop-off road train around Norwich which takes you around the historic streets and sights of the city.

Sightseeing Tours of Olde Norwich runs tours on a charabanc that takes in the city's great historic buildings and streets.
