Norwich Cathedral is situated in The Close, near the Tombland area of Norwich city centre.

Many city centre buses stop in Tombland and the Cathedral is five minutes' walk from Castle Meadow where most city centre buses stop.

Limited parking is available only for vehicles bearing an official Blue Badge. Disabled parking permits will be issued by the gatekeepers for two hours on a first-come, first-served basis. A space is also provided at the South Door for a minibus carrying disabled passengers.

There is no parking for general visitors to the Cathedral, shop, library or refectory in The Close, however the Cathedral is within walking distance from many city centre car parks.
