Norwich 12 is one of the main partners in NORWICHRISTMAS, the city's festive fayre - a packed programme of fantastic festive events running 3rd to 14th December.

Craft fairs and Christmas markets

  

Dragon Hall Medieval Christmas Market 

Discover costumed traders selling hand-crafted, historical and original gifts. Enjoy seasonal food, refreshments and licensed bar. Sat 6th and Sun 7th Dec 10am to 5pm. £2.50 / £1.

Historic Christmas Fayre at Norwich Cathedral

Historical items and replica artefacts from the last 2000 years - "Roman" mosaics to rope, pottery to pewter - with mulled wine, a hog roast and period entertainment. Fri 12th Dec: 10am to 6pm, Sat 13th Dec: 10am to 5pm; Sun 14th Dec: 12pm to 5pm. £2.50 / free.

Norfolk Crafts Fair at The Forum

Top quality, predominantly locally-produced art and ornaments, clothes and Christmas decorations brought to you by Knapton Crafts. 3rd to 14th Dec, 10am to 7pm (8pm Thurs, 5pm Sun). Free to get in.

Polish Christmas Market at St John's Cathedral

Fri 12th Dec, 4.30-7.30pm, free.

Festive concerts at the two Cathedrals

  

Norwich 12 concert

A journey through medieval, Georgian, Victorian and modern Christmas music. Mulled wine and mince pies. Free (retiring collection) and no need to book. Fri, 12th Dec, 7pm.

The Mediaevel Baebes Concert

Hauntingly beautiful mediaeval music. £15.00/£20.00 in advance from www.mediaevalbaebes.com. Sat, 13th Dec.

Christingle children's concert

Norwich Cathedral, Sat 6th Dec, 3.30-4.15pm, free.

Traditional advent Carol Service

St John's Cathedral, Sun 7th Dec, 4pm, free.

Other events

Tower tours at St John's Cathedral

See Norwich's Christmas Lights from the top of the cathedral, 270 steps up the tower. Fri 12th Dec, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm, £3. Warm clothing and sturdy footwear recommended, children must be over 8 and accompanied by an adult.

Ice Rink at The Forum

Millennium Plain at The Forum is transformed into a magical ice rink. Tickets available from The Forum, 9.45am to 8pm seven days a week Sat 29th Nov to Fri 2nd Jan. www.theforumnorwich.co.uk.

Food and performance at The Assembly House

Enjoy a traditional Christmas menu throughout December (call 01603 627526) and the Albion Band Christmas Show on 14th Dec at 8pm, (call 01603 598688 to book tickets).
