Museums at Night 2011
Twilight tower tours... Chilling tales... Arts and crafts... Dungeon tours...Live music... and much more; Museums at Night Returns to Norwich in 2011!
Museums at Night is a national weekend of late openings at heritage venues to capture people's imaginations and encourage audiences to do something different with their evening.
Norwich hosted five events of nocturnal goings-on from Friday 13 May to Saturday 14 May with some of Norwich's key museums and heritage attractions unlocking their doors after hours as part of the nationwide event. This is the second year Norwich has taken part in Museums at Night on such a large scale.
The city's Museums at Night events were organised collaboratively by Norwich Heritage Economic and Regeneratino Trust (HEART), Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Renaissance East of England, Colman's Mustard Shop and Museum, John Jarrold Print Museum, the Guildhall and the Cathedral of St John the Baptist.

Museums at Night 2010
Night owls enjoyed a weekend of nocturnal goings-on from Friday 14 May to Sunday 16 May as Norwich's museums and heritage attractions unlocked their doors for Museums at Night 2010.
Norwich HEART coordinated the city's events, which were part of the nationwide Museums at Night, organised by Culture24 and funded by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council.
2010 was the first year Norwich had taken part in Museums at Night on such a grand scale - several venues, including five of the Norwich 12 buildings, were open after hours as part of the national campaign, which aimed to capture people's imaginations and encourage audiences to do something different with their evening.
Visitors to Museums at Night events were offered a range of experiences, including an installation, moonlit tours, ghost stories and children's sleepovers.
